The filmmakers behind the ill-fated Gregg Allman biopic have surrendered to police in Georgia. Director Randall Miller and Jody Savin turned themselves in to authorities early Tuesday before posting bail for release.
Miller and Savin were recently indicted on involuntary manslaughter and criminal trespass charges in connection to the death of camera assistant Sarah Jones. She was struck and killed by a passing train while working on the set of the movie "Midnight Rider" back in February. Other crew members were also injured but survived the accident.
Miller, Savin and Allman are also named in a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Jones' family.
