UPDATE: Police Identify Suspects in Robbery Near UW Campus

UPDATE - 09/19/13 -

Madison Police have identified the suspects in Wednesday night's robbery near the UW-Madison campus.

Ramar Brown and Donte Hunter, both 17, have been arrested and tentatively charged with robbery.

Police say the robbery happened on W. Gilman St., and was drug related.

One gunshot was reportedly fired on Langdon St. shortly after the robbery.

Update Detectives have just learned this was not a random robbery, rather a crime targeted at this specific victim. Thanks to police dogs, the stolen backpack has been recovered.

Madison police say a shot was fired after the mugging of a 19 year old man on Gilman Street.

No injuries were reported.

UW students told to stay indoors after a shot was fired on Langdon St.
