A 2 alarm fire Tuesday morning on Madison's East Side. The blaze broke out inside a warehouse in the 300 block of Atlas Avenue just after 6 a.m. Buses are at the scene to keep people warm.
Fire department spokeswoman Lori Wirth says firefighters have gone into defensive mode in battling the blaze, which means they've been ordered out of the structure and are only fighting it from the outside. Multiple crews are on scene.
