Road Rage: Driver pulls gun on Brodhead man

Madison Police say a driver pulled a gun on a Brodhead man during a road rage incident.

It happened around 5:50 p.m. on January 17th.

The Brodhead man had just pulled into a restaurant parking lot just off Greenway Cross. As he did, another vehicle followed him in.

He could hear the other driver yelling and walked over to see what was going on.

The angry driver accused him of cutting him off while pulling into the parking lot. The Brodhead man said he had done no such thing.

According to police, the other driver then reportedly said “I'm going to cap (shoot) your (behind)!”

The Brodhead man said the driver then pulled what appeared to be a 9-millimeter semiautomatic pistol. The victim ran away, and the other man drove off.

Police describe the angry driver as: Male, black, 30-40 years old, 5'8" to 6', short hair; wearing a dark jacket; driving a black SUV - possibly an older Toyota Rav4 - with temporary plates.
