Gunpoint abduction in Monona

On Sunday, June 9th, 2013, at approximately 8:30 pm, Monona Police responded to the area of Femrite and US 12 to meet with Dane County Deputies and Cottage Grove Police who were with the victim of a robbery. The victim, a 26 year old male, was walking in the area of Kings Row and Monona Drive when three males in a van abducted him at gunpoint.

The subjects took the victims shoes, pants, wallet and cell phone, then pushed him out of the vehicle in the area of Femrite and US 12. The victim was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and released.

Suspect #1: Male white, 21, short blond hair, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt. Suspect #2: Male white 30, dark hair, wearing a sleeveless shirt and a white and green hat. Subject had tattoos on both upper arms with green ink. Suspect #3: Male white, 21, wearing a red sleeveless shirt. At some point the name “Jake” was mentioned.

Vehicle: Blue in color minivan with a partial license combination of S 6 5. If anyone has information on this incident, they are asked to contact the Monona Police Department at 222-0463 or the Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.
